The Harcienda Hato Verde is the perfect place to explore Cotopaxi and relax in the evening with a nice glass of wine in front of the fireplace. I can totally recommend to visit, you’ll feel welcome immediately.

Hosts, historic house (140 years old) beautifully updated and arranged, perfectly provisioned to host people, yet feels intimate, cozy and welcoming. Amazing breakfast with products made in the property (the fresh cheese is so good no was left - I ate 80% of it!!!) Owners will make you feel like you are part of their family! There pictures of the property you see in booking.com are great, the actual place is even better!

The family spent time talking with us about the farm, the type of racing they breed the horses for and the history of the site. The food was delicious.

Truly 5 star experience. Perfect location, very tranquil with impeccable service! We were able to reach Cotopaxi National Park very easily.
